website is not to flash or overpowering
with ads, its a simple, straight to the
point, looking site with no hassle navigation.
Sampletekk
distribute multisampled instruments for
Gigastudio, HALion, Kontakt and EXS24.
So what will you find at Sampletekk?
Mainly instruments, these are acoustic piano,
electric pianos, organs, percussion, woodwind,
brass and synths.
They claim to produce the most technically
advanced sampled instruments.
"Our sampled pianos are developed
using groundbreaking technology. The White
and Black Grand series has no less then
16 velocity splits and the TBO family has
31. This is totally unmatched and gives
our pianos the dynamic response that is
required for natural playing."
Prices range from $15 ~
$199 which you can pay
using a credit card or Paypal.
During checkout you have the option to select
'downloadable file' or have them on a DVD
which is an extra $10.
There is currently no information on the
Sampletekk
web site regarding sample usage or licensing,
so we emailed them and asked "Can
you use the samples on your site for commercial
use?" They replied,
"The samples can be used commercially,
no problem. The only restriction is that
you can't resell the samples as a sample
library or using the samples to produce
another sample library.
Musically, that is, writing, recording and
performing music with them - no problem!".
This is fair enough and standard.
If you do wish to purchase try and get this
in an agreement of some kind, the guys at
Sampletekk
seem very approachable and extremely helpful.
